© 2018 BY THE MILESTONE STUDIO // PERTH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS

We are The Milestone Studio.
Lovers of love.
Storytellers of your epic 'i do' adventure.

hello

Self-proclaimed dorks.

Couch lounging Netflix fanatics.

Obsessive caffeine intakers (we have small humans).

Retired, old school ravers.

Wannabe fitness freaks.

Wine... hells yeah and lots of it, please.

Those weird people who take photos of their meals.

Lovers of Love.

The Milestone Studio are three wedding photographers who are all about old school, true romance, where love is love and getting hitched is your way of saying to the world... I found my lobster.

Our style combines the influence of documentary with fine art, editorial style photography.

We shoot with an emphasis on emotion and prioritise making the experience as relaxed as possible.

We are about capturing you guys being you.

We want to tell your story; finding those moments that give you the goosebumps, those warm and fuzzies.

A team of three, but essentially it's Tammie & Emma running the show #whoruntheworldgirls with our beloved sidekick John.
We are all family, we are all neighbours and we all have a passion for this crazy little thing called love.

A BIT ABOUT US

family, neighbours, besties. lovers of love.

TAMMIE

me me me, where do I start... how do I write this without showing the awkward giddiness I get from how much I love this gig of photographing people....  photography hasn't always been my jam, for the longest time I wanted to be a wedding planner, I just love planning parties! Then my nan was diagnosed with lung cancer and John and I made a video documenting my grandparent's life of 60 years together.  We both got the bug... the need and love for preserving these moments.... and so Milestone began.

Me personally, I'm a fairly down to earth person, I love my family, I love my friends, I love to entertain! I spend my days with my two out of this world adorable but exhausting kids Frankie & Oscar and our very stinky french bulldog Hank.

Working with me, you're going to get a pretty chilled personality, I don't let many things bother me and I'm comfortable in new situations. I have 10 years experience in Human Resources so I've seen all sorts.

If you think we will mesh well I'll be happy dancing for shizzle!

EMMA

So, who am I? Born and bred in Rotorua, New Zealand, I moved to Perth in 2012 after falling for a ‘top Aussie bloke’ at the Rugby World Cup. Fast forward a few years… I’m still in Perth and married to that ‘top Aussie bloke’. We have a crazy yet charming son Oliver, the elusive cat Hudson and our bear like Bernese Mountain dog, Nelson - who doesn’t love an old-fashioned love story?!

My background has always been a creative one, I spent four years at the University of Auckland studying, designing and painting my way towards a Bachelor of Visual Arts before working for a global Advertising company when I landed here in Perth. This led me into the world of photography where I am lucky enough to be documenting those authentic moments between people. I have always had a love for love and to be lucky enough to capture these moments is something special.

I'm pretty chilled, love meeting new people and am a planner - love a good spreadsheet. So you can be sure that your wedding day timeline will be knuckled down before the day, ensuring things run like clockwork.

JOHN

.... and we are still waiting on Johnny Boy to give us some goss.....

As I watched the dog chasing his talk, I thought dogs are easily amused. Then I realised I was watching the dog chase his tail...."
